Solution

Here are the steps to delete temporary Internet files and cookies in a variety of browsers.

  • Click the Customize and control button.
  • Click Settings.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Advanced.
  • Scroll to view the Privacy and security section, and click Clear browsing data.
  • Click the Advanced tab.
  • Click the Time range drop-down and choose All time.
  • Select the Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files checkboxes. Clear all other checkboxes.
  • Click the Clear data button.
  • Close the Settings tab.
  • Close all instances of Chrome.
  • Click the Open menu button.
  • Click Options.
  • Click the Privacy & Security panel.
  • Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data.
  • Click the Clear Data... button.
  • Select the Cookies and Site Data, and Cached Web Content checkboxes.
  • Click the Clear button.
  • Click the Clear Now button.
  • Close the Options tab.
  • Close all instances of Firefox.
  • Click the Settings and more button.
  • Click the Settings menu item.
  • Click the Privacy & security panel.
  • Click the Choose what to clear button.
  • Select the Cookies and saved website data, and Cached data and files checkboxes. Clear all other checkboxes.
  • Click the Clear button.
  • Close all instances of Edge.
  • Click the Settings and more button.
  • Click the Settings menu item.
  • Click the Privacy & services panel.
  • Scroll down to Clear browsing data and click the Choose what to clear button.
  • Click the Time range drop-down and choose All time.
  • Select the Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files checkboxes. Clear all other checkboxes.
  • Click the Clear now button.
  • Close the Settings tab.
  • Close all instances of Edge.
